The C2 Mobility Project together with the Multiplier Event E1 “Open Field” and the Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) has just been concluded to the full satisfaction of the projects’ partners. The entire course of the Mobility was organised and monitored by the Associazione “Per Boboli” which serves as the project’s coordinating association. The association’s President, Dr. Eleonora Pecchioli, was responsible for coordinating all aspects of this three-day event. In an atmosphere of great cooperation, the Partners spent three days in Florence, where they were able to combine project planning together with visits to the city’s most significant places and sites. On the morning of Thursday 23rd September 2021, the Partners participated in a training workshop held within the historic Boboli Gardens, in collaboration with gardener Ivo Matteuzzi, and, subsequently, in the the garden of Villa Bardini, with the precious collaboration of architect Giorgio Galletti. The European partners were able to admire the beauty of these historic places, which, in the project, are combined in a perspective of innovative social inclusion and horticultural therapy. After a lunch break in the beautiful Piazza di Santo Spirito, to be found at a stone’s throw away from the Boboli Gardens, at the heart of Florence’s historical centre, the Partners visited the hosting facilities pertaining to the Opera della Divina Provvidenza della Madonnina del Grappa. There they were able to get to know the activities carried out by the Opera della Divina Provvidenza della Madonnina del Grappa in its mission towards rehabilitation and social inclusion. On Friday, 24th September 2021, the International Conference titled “Open Field” took place as part of the Multiplier event. The conference was held in the Sala Brunelleschi within the premises of the Istituto degli Innocenti in Piazza Santissima Annunziata in Florence, thanks to the courtesy of the Institute itself. This event saw the attendance of both institutional and academic figures, as well as all of the Project Partners who were able to talk about the results obtained so far, thus showing the interconnection by a common goal, that of social inclusion through innovative tools. In the afternoon, the Transnational Project Meeting was held at Le Murate Idea Park. On this occasion, the state of the project was presented, through a strong sense of collaboration between all Partners, it was possible to be able to resolve and actively discuss, in a live format, the phases of the project that had been completed, those in progress and what would be completed in the future. On Saturday, 25th September 2021, thanks to the courtesy and guidance of the Marquis Vieri Torrigiani, the Partners had the possibility to visit the splendid Torrigiani Gardens. Here the Partners were able to observe another aspect regarding the use of historic gardens. In the afternoon, the Mobility Project officially ended with a guided tour at Palazzo Vecchio which was carried out in two groups due to the global, pandemic situation. During this visit the Partners were given the possibility to have look at Palazzo Vecchio’s magnificent halls as well as its hidden corridors and passageways. Through these eventful three days, where all of the Partners actively participated in each and every event, we can proudly state that the C2 Project Mobility was concluded with success
